Brownstown Township, MI. – A woman died after being struck by a car on Wednesday night in Brownstown Township, Wayne County

The accident was reported around 9:45 p.m. on Dix-Toledo Road, between King Road and Carter Road, according to the Brownstown Police Department.

81-year-old Sandra Bacon was walking in the area and was struck by a car.

The woman was found in the roadway with severe injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
