Gladwin Co., MI - Fatal Crash on Dale Rd Near Dundas Rd

Gladwin Co., MI (June 1, 2025) – Early in the morning on May 30, deputies from the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal crash on Dale Road near Dundas Road in Tobacco Township. The collision occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. and involved a 2008 Buick LaCrosse and a 1990 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Investigators determined that the Buick was traveling along Dale Road when it collided with the motorcycle. The driver of the Buick, a twenty-one-year-old man from Gladwin County, survived the crash and was taken into custody. Meanwhile, the thirty-six-year-old driver of the motorcycle, also from Gladwin County, was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.

First responders from the Beaverton Fire Department, Gladwin Emergency Services, Beaverton Police Department, and Michigan State Police assisted with the scene. Charges are pending against the driver of the Buick, who was transported to the Gladwin County Jail. Authorities are withholding the names of both individuals involved pending family notification and further investigation.
