Center Line, MI (June 12, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle collision with reported injuries and entrapment took place in Center Line during the evening hours of Wednesday, June 11. The crash occurred around 6:55 p.m. at the intersection of Van Dyke Avenue and Busch Avenue.
According to eyewitness accounts, the crash involved a yellow Chevrolet Corvette and a gray Jeep Renegade. The Corvette, reportedly exiting from a nearby auto dealership, was struck on the driver's side by the northbound Jeep traveling along Van Dyke Avenue. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles and led to at least one individual being trapped inside the Corvette.
Firefighters and medical personnel responded quickly to the scene. Emergency crews extricated the victim from the Corvette before transporting them to an area hospital for treatment. The Jeep also sustained heavy front-end damage. Officers remained on-site to investigate the circumstances of the crash and manage traffic flow through the area.
