Lansing, MI – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Semi-Truck on I-96 Near M-52

Lansing, MI (June 16, 2025) – An incident occurred early on June 16 in Ingham County, when a man lost his life after being struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 96. Authorities responded to the westbound lanes of I-96 near the Michigan 52 overpass, just outside Webberville, following reports of a pedestrian being hit.

According to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and personnel from the Northeast Ingham Emergency Services Authority were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, first responders located the victim deceased on the highway.
