Granger, MI - Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on SR 23 near State Line

Granger, MI (June 21, 2025) – A deadly crash near the Michigan border claimed the life of a South Bend motorcyclist on the evening of June 20. The incident took place just before 5:00 p.m. on State Road 23, in the area south of the Michigan state line.

According to officials, a 39-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a minivan. The impact of the crash proved fatal for the motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the minivan suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Authorities have not released the name of the victim. Police continue to investigate the events that led up to the collision.
