Courtland Twp., MI (June 25, 2025) – A crash unfolded early Tuesday morning, June 24, claiming the lives of two individuals in Courtland Township, north of Rockford.

The deadly crash occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of 13 Mile Road and Courtland Drive. According to the Michigan State Police, the collision involved two vehicles. The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over and catch fire. Tragically, both drivers lost their lives as a result of the crash. One driver died at the scene, while the other passed away at a nearby hospital. Each vehicle had only the driver on board.
