Lake County, MI (July 30, 2023) - A two-vehicle accident that happened in Lake County on Saturday afternoon left two people dead, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called to the collision, which occurred near the North Junction of southbound Michigan Highway 37 and West U.S. Highway 10 at around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
The incident claimed the lives of two persons, though authorities did not report specific details about the victims or whether any injuries occurred as a result of the wreck.
The Michigan State Police Accident Investigation Unit provided assistance to the Lake County Sheriff's Office in the ongoing inquiry. No further details were released in the meantime.
