Detroit, MI (August 8, 2023) - At least two vehicles collided on Interstate 75 near Detroit on the evening of August 8, prompting the Detroit Police Department to respond.
Almost all right lanes of the southbound highway at Sibley Road were closed after an accident at about 7:45 p.m., according to preliminary reports from the DPD. Authorities responded quickly after the road was closed so that they could begin their investigation, as reported by the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Paramedics came shortly after the collision and checked on what looked to be two casualties. However, DPD officials are currently investigating the event; thus, no information on the victims or their injuries has been released.
