Detroit, MI (December 2, 2021) - A car wreck reported in Detroit on the morning of December 2nd caused injuries and traffic delays. The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. and required an emergency dispatch from police, EMTs, and fire crews.
Sources say the incident happened on Interstate 94 near Van Dyke when an unspecified number of vehicles collided. A large portion of the interstate was blocked for some time to allow for responders to work at the scene, including the left shoulder, left lane, and center lane.
Traffic was backed up in the vicinity of Van Dyke on I-94 for some time on the morning of December 2 while crews worked to secure the area. At least one person was hurt in the wreck, however, it remains unclear how many people required emergency transportation to the hospital.
At this time, authorities in Detroit continue their investigations into the details of the collision. No other details have currently been reported to the public.
