Utica, MI (March 15, 2022) – On Monday afternoon, March 14, a car crash took place on a roadway in Utica. The wreck was reported to officials in the area at around 12:30 p.m.
According to Michigan State Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of Van Dyke near Hall Road and 21 Mile Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Injured parties were treated on-site before being transported to area hospitals by ambulance.
The roadway was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to secure the area.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
