Gaines Twp, MI - Britt Bridge Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Morrish & Hill Rd

Gaines Twp, MI (June 2, 2023) - A crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle in Gaines Township resulted in the death of a Swartz Creek man on Saturday, May 27. 

The deadly crash occurred at the corner of Morrish and Hill Roads at around 11 p.m. that night. It was reported that 61-year-old Britt Bridge of Swartz Creek was riding a motorcycle when another driver crossed the centerline. Bridge was hit by the 66-year-old Linden man operating the vehicle. 

Bridge suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The Linden man is believed to have been under the influence and is currently facing charges. He also suffered injuries in the crash. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
