Detroit, MI (July 23, 2023) - On Sunday, July 23rd, a collision resulting in injuries was reported to the Detroit Police Department. Interstates 75 and 696 were both within a short distance of the scene.
The incident occurred on southbound Interstate 75 at around 10:15 p.m., said the Michigan Department of Transportation. The event caused the closure of the left lanes going to the I-696 junction.
DPD officers cordoned off the scene and requested medical aid, but there has been no update on the drivers' conditions made public.
The DPD will provide updates to the public when new information becomes available.
