Detroit, MI (July 25, 2023) - Officers from the Detroit Police Department said that one or more people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday, July 25.
Authorities said that the crash occurred on southbound State Highway 39 at 7 Mile Road at around 5:30 p.m. Towing services were called to remove the debris from the roadway, and the left lanes were closed while the injured were attended to by paramedics. The patients were checked out by first responders, but we don't know how many were sent to local hospitals.
There has been no more explanation. The ongoing accident investigation is being led by law enforcement, who are now seeking to interview potential witnesses.
