Detroit, MI (July 29, 2023) - According to reports by officers with the Detroit Police Department, a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday, July 29, injured at least one person.
According to the authorities, at around 10:30 p.m. local time, the collision happened on southbound State Highway 39 close to Grand River Road. While paramedics treated the injured, towing services were called to remove the debris, and the left lanes of the highway were shut down. Although first responders examined the victims, the exact number of individuals sent to nearby hospitals is unknown.
No more information has been provided. Law enforcement personnel are in charge of the ongoing accident investigation, and in the interim, police are attempting to gather witnesses' testimonies.
