Detroit, MI (August 7, 2023) - A collision with injuries was reported to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office on the evening of August 7.
Just before midnight, the Macomb County Police scanner received a report of an incident on I-94 near Connor Avenue. Officials blocked down virtually all lanes of traffic. They summoned emergency crews to examine the tragedy, which they suspect involved at least two automobiles, one of which became airborne and smashed into a pole.
Afterward, paramedics arrived at the scene to treat the injured victims, but officials didn't say anything further about how they were doing.
Authorities in Macomb County are looking for any witnesses to the incident. Meanwhile, the police investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released when it becomes available.
