Pontiac, MI (February 13, 2022) - Injuries resulted from an auto accident that took place on a freeway in Pontiac this afternoon, February 13. At approximately 4:45 p.m., police and emergency personnel were called to assist at the scene of a collision on Interstate 275.
According to reports, the crash happened in the vicinity of 8 Mile Road on I-275 for reasons still being investigated by local police. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene in order to medically assist those who were hurt.
Injured parties were rendered aid at the site of the crash before being transported in ambulances to area hospitals for further treatment. No one involved has been identified at this time.
Two lanes of the freeway were blocked while first responders worked at the site of the accident. Heavy traffic was observed in the area for some time after the collision occurred.
