Detroit, MI - Multi-Vehicle Wreck with Injuries Occurs on I-94 at Mt Elliot

Detroit, MI (August 7, 2023) - During the early morning hours of Monday, August 7, officers with the Detroit Police Department responded to a multiple-vehicle collision with reported injuries.

The collision occurred on westbound Interstate 94 near the transition ramp to Mount Elliot, according to an incident notification issued by the Macomb County scanner. At around 3:15 a.m., DPD officers and troopers from the Michigan State Police arrived at the site of the collision to conduct their on-site inquiry.

The Detroit PD quickly called local emergency medical personnel to assist, though the number of victims affected by injuries resulting from the crash is unknown.

Any prospective witnesses are asked to get in touch with the investigating DPD officers right away.
