Kalamazoo, MI (August 8, 2023) - Police in Kalamazoo, Michigan, said a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision on Tuesday afternoon, August 8.
Just before 2:00 p.m., a motorcycle and a passenger sedan collided near the corner of North Rose and West North Streets. An officer from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety witnessed the collision and began providing emergency care to the motorcyclist soon after it occurred.
A 21-year-old man from Kalamazoo was on the motorcycle at the time of the crash and sustained serious injuries that sent him to the hospital. What caused the accident is unclear, but KDPS is still looking into it.
Witnesses with additional information were asked to contact the Kalamazoo Police Department.
