Southfield, MI (August 16, 2023) - Southfield PD officers have released new information on a serious car crash that happened in Oakland County on Friday morning (August 11).
At around 7:10 a.m. on Friday in Southfield, a truck driver reportedly collided with a bus, sending three people to the hospital. Close to the crossroads of 9 Mile Road and Northwestern Highway is where the event took place.
Firefighters from Southfield were called to the scene because the truck driver was stuck inside his vehicle after the collision. Soon after, he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The bus driver and one bus passenger were both sent to the hospital for treatment after experiencing medical emergencies. Their present status is uncertain, though.
The police sealed off the area while they conducted their investigation, which is currently continuing.
