Detroit, MI (August 23, 2023) - The Detroit Police Department responded to the site of a crash after receiving reports of a rollover accident with injuries that shut down the intersection of Hall Road and Hayes Avenue on Wednesday night, August 23.

According to a Michigan Department of Transportation and Macomb County incident alert, the collision blocked all lanes near the junction. Around 9:30 p.m., the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police reported to the area and started their investigation.

Although the precise number of injured people is yet unclear, the Detroit PD also requested emergency medical services for assistance. The current conditions of the victims who were examined on the scene by EMTs remain unknown in the interim.

The DPD's investigation is still in progress, and detectives are looking for any witnesses who might be able to provide additional information.
