Dearborn, MI - Woman Dies, Several Hurt in Crash at Oakman & Morrow Cir

Dearborn, MI (August 30, 2023) - A 22-year-old woman was killed after a vehicle crash involving a police pursuit took place on Wednesday, per local authorities in Dearborn.

After the chase, the suspect driver collided with another car, injuring a woman, man, and teen girl, at the intersection of Oakman Boulevard and South Morrow Circle in Dearborn around 10:45 p.m.

Multiple felony charges have been brought against the driver, who allegedly fled from police as they tried to conduct a traffic check. Because of this, a pursuit ensued. During the pursuit, the man also apparently collided with two police cars, lost control of his vehicle, and smashed into a power pole near the corner of Greenfield Road and Ford Road.

First responders arrived and took all injured victims to the hospital. Later that day, the female passenger succumbed to her injuries.

An investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details about the victims were provided.
