Wayland, MI (September 5, 2023) - On 124th Avenue, between Martin and Wayland Townships, an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) collision occurred, prompting calls to the Wayland Fire Department as well as Martin Fire and Rescue and the Yankee Springs Fire Department.

Several individuals sustained injuries in the collision, according to the authorities.

When emergency responders, including Wayland Fire, the Allegan County Sheriff's Office, and the Gun Lake Tribal Police, arrived, they found the ATV on its roof. Emergency care was provided to multiple injured victims after they were initially evaluated. Patients were then taken to a nearby hospital by a fleet of ambulances from two different companies, though the total number of victims involved is still unknown.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing in the interim.

The injured victims and their loved ones are in our thoughts. We hope for their fast and full recovery.
