Detroit, MI (September 8, 2023) - The Michigan Department of Transportation reports that on Friday night, September 8, two vehicles collided at a nearby crossroads, resulting in apparent victim injuries.
At about 6:20 p.m., emergency medical technicians, Detroit Police Department officers, and Michigan State Police troopers all arrived at the scene. Authorities reported that many lanes had been closed at the intersection of Common Road and Utica Road as police examined the area. Although it is yet unknown how seriously injured the victims are, paramedics were sent to the scene of the accident to assess the situation.
Anyone with information was asked to contact the authorities. Authorities from the DPD and MSP are now handling the investigation into the collision.
