Multiple Vehicle Collisions in Detroit
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there is an automobile accident every 10 seconds in the United States. Not surprisingly, given the poor national and Michigan numbers we’ve seen, the vast majority of personal injury claims evaluated by our courts today involve automobile accidents.
Schedule a consultation with an attorney after a vehicle accident, even if you feel your injuries are minor and the circumstances are straightforward. Having a lawyer on your side has been shown to boost the amount of money you get as a plaintiff. It’s true that hiring an attorney may be expensive, which worries many victims. A personal injury attorney often accepts cases on a contingency fee basis, meaning they don’t get paid until you do.
In many situations, it would be beneficial to have legal representation. Your attorney will negotiate with insurers and other parties on your behalf. You could feel more at ease knowing that your attorney would do all in their power to uncover the truth, hold the guilty people accountable, and make a compelling case on your behalf. The next step might be to conduct interviews with potential witnesses and gather further data.
