Detroit, MI (September 8, 2023) – Late on Friday, September 8, many vehicles crashed on a highway in the Detroit region, resulting in at least one injury.
A collision was reported to police about 4:15 p.m. on the I-696 Service Road close to the Dequindre Drive exit. At the scene of the collision, one of the vehicles apparently toppled, impeding traffic in both directions. Detroit Police Department officers reached out to emergency medical service providers and Michigan State Police troopers for help with the investigation.
It’s unclear how many people were involved, but emergency medical services arrived quickly to aid the injured. If you know anything, the DPD wants to hear from you.
Meanwhile, the DPD is leading the ongoing probe.
Our thoughts and hopes are with the injured, and we wish for their speedy recovery.
Automobile Accidents in Detroit
Every day, tens of thousands of people utilize the roads and highways in Michigan to commute to and from work, visit local attractions, and explore the state. The intersection of Highway 96 and Interstate 75, as well as the stretch of Interstate 94 between Vining Road and Telegraph Road, are three of the busiest and most dangerous locations in the Detroit region.
Regardless of the circumstances or speed limits, everyone involved in an automobile accident on a highway or interstate is practically certain to suffer catastrophic injuries or fatal wounds.
The majority of life-threatening injuries in the Detroit region are the result of automobile collisions. Victims of vehicle accidents may face difficult circumstances following the incident, including high medical bills, missed employment, and other losses.
If an accident that left you wounded was someone else’s fault, they must cover the expenses associated with your medical treatment. If you have been hurt and are seeking legal counsel, a personal injury lawyer in Detroit may be able to help in a number of ways:
-A complete analysis of the incident, including the collection of witness statements and analysis of surveillance video.
-You may be able to put together what happened in the moments before your accident by speaking with potential witnesses.
-Using a group of accident investigators to look into your claim and locate reliable expert witnesses.
-So that your losses and damages are reimbursed properly and in full, you should assess settlement offers from insurance companies carefully and negotiate terms that work for you.
