Kalamazoo, MI - Motorcyclist Hurt in Hit-and-Run on Mt Olivet Rd

Kalamazoo, MI (September 11, 2023) - Police are searching for the driver who struck and fled after injuring a biker.

The event happened on Friday night at about 9:00 p.m. local time near the corner of Mount Olivet Road and Virginia Avenue in Kalamazoo.

According to reports, a vehicle struck and killed a 40-year-old female biker in Kalamazoo. The severity of the woman's wounds was confirmed by police, who declined to comment on her condition.

The driver of a GMC Suburban that was also involved in the accident sped off. The cops said the driver's side mirror and front quarter panel are at risk today. Anyone who saw the collision or has information related to it is urged to call the Criminal Investigation Division of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
