Detroit, MI - Injuries Occur in Vehicle Wreck on I-75 at I-94

Detroit, MI (September 12, 2023) - On Tuesday afternoon, September 12, officers with the Detroit Police Department fielded an accident alert and a complaint of injuries after a serious rollover wreck occurred on I-75.

The DPD and the Michigan Department of Transportation report that the accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on the northbound side of the highway. Officials shut down several lanes of traffic to investigate, and their preliminary findings suggest that two drivers and a few passengers were involved in the rollover crash, prompting the dispatch of emergency personnel before the I-94 exit.

Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter, but no information on the victims' injuries or current conditions has been released.

Officers are still investigating in the interim and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
