Detroit, MI (September 14, 2023) - The Michigan State Police and local police in Detroit reported that two automobiles crashed in the center and left lanes of I-94 on Thursday night, September 14, causing significant injuries.
One of the drivers involved in the crash on the westbound side near Chene Road was evaluated by medics and sent to a local hospital, according to a report filed by the Minnesota State Patrol. Officers began their investigation immediately after the crash was reported at 10:50 p.m., and they have now concluded their investigation, but they have not released any information regarding the fatalities.
Before the exit for Mound Road, the road was blocked for cleaning but is now open again. In the meanwhile, investigators are still working to determine what led to the catastrophe.
