Fennville, MI (September 14, 2023) - Three persons were seriously hurt in a head-on collision that occurred in Allegan County on Thursday morning.

The incident happened at the intersection of 56th Street and 116th Avenue at 6:00 a.m. The alleged at-fault driver, who police believe was falling asleep, apparently crossed the center line and collided with a car traveling north.

Michigan State Police, LIFE EMS, Clyde Township Fire Department, and Allegan Central Dispatch all responded, though the cause of the accident has yet to be determined.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their loved ones at this time. We hope for their fast and full recovery.
