Detroit, MI - Injuries Recorded in Vehicle Collision on I-75 at 11 Mile Rd

Detroit, MI (September 17, 2023) - On the evening of September 17, several vehicles crashed on a highway in the Detroit region, injuring at least one person.

Northbound Interstate 75 near 11 Mile Road was the scene of a reported collision around 6:15 p.m. At the collision scene, one of the drivers allegedly flipped, impeding traffic. Detroit Police Department officers contacted area emergency medical service providers and Michigan State Police troopers for help with the investigation.

It is unclear how many people were hurt in the accident; however, emergency medical services responded quickly to the scene. The DPD is asking anyone with information to come forward.

The DPD is currently in charge of the ongoing inquiry.
