Detroit, MI (September 19, 2023) - At least one person was injured early on Tuesday afternoon, September 19, in a multi-vehicle wreck, according to the Detroit Police Department.
On the west side of Detroit, at around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the accident apparently occurred on eastbound Interstate 96 at the exit to Beck Road. Paramedics responded shortly thereafter, though the total number of victims ultimately transported to the hospital remains unclear at this time.
Authorities have said their investigation continues, but they have not provided any updates in the interim. Witnesses should contact the DPD with additional information.
