Vehicle Wreck Injuries in Michigan
Every 10 to 15 seconds, somewhere in the United States, a car crash happens, as reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Furthermore, it should come as no surprise, given the bleak national and Michigan-specific statistics, that the great majority of personal injury lawsuits now being considered by our courts involve automotive accidents.
You should always go to an attorney, even if you think your vehicle accident was small. Even if you don’t think the collision affected you too much and the facts appear straightforward, you should nonetheless get medical attention. It’s common knowledge that those who have legal representation while filing claims get more money. Many of the victims worry that hiring an attorney would result in a dramatic rise in their out-of-pocket costs. The vast majority of personal injury lawyers work on a contingency fee basis.
Having a lawyer on your side may be useful in a wide range of circumstances. Your lawyer will handle communication and negotiations with the insurance company and any other parties involved on your behalf. You may be confident that your lawyer will investigate the situation thoroughly, identify the culpable parties, and provide evidence that will convince the court to award you compensation. The second phase calls for you to conduct interviews with possible witnesses and collect further data.
