Detroit, MI (September 30, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred on Highway 39 in Detroit on Saturday afternoon, September 30.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on southbound Michigan Highway 39 following the exit to Grand River Road. The accident scene was cordoned off once deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrived. However, authorities concealed details about the crash's victims and their conditions.
Although emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those critically injured to the hospital, it is unknown how severe their injuries or current conditions are.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office and the Detroit Police Department are conducting a joint investigation. Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses.
