Detroit, MI (October 1, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred on Interstate 94 in Detroit on Sunday afternoon, October 1.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on westbound I-94 following the exit to Mt. Elliott. The accident scene was cordoned off once deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrived. However, authorities concealed details about the crash's victims and their conditions.
Although emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those critically injured to the hospital, it is unknown how severe their injuries or current conditions are.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office and the Detroit Police Department are conducting a joint investigation. Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses.
