Saginaw, MI (October 31, 2023) - On Saturday, a tree service proprietor died while working on the grounds of a local shop, according to area authorities.
Workers' compensation and health and safety officials from the state of Michigan (MIOSHA) arrived to investigate and say there were two workers there when the accident happened on the property of a convenience store on Weiss Street.
The man was reportedly killed when a tree that was being felled collapsed on top of him. A MIOSHA representative has said that they cannot comment while the probe is still ongoing but that more information would be released after the investigation is completed.
