Taylor, MI (November 18, 2023) - A woman was killed on Tuesday afternoon in Taylor after a semi-truck collided with her bicycle, and an investigation is now ongoing into the incident.
The incident reportedly happened at Ecorse Road and Monroe Boulevard, between Telegraph and the Southfield Freeway, south of I-94. While the exact sequence of events leading up to the collision is still unclear, authorities have said that the semi-truck was making a left turn when it hit the woman on her bicycle. The extent of the truck driver's injuries and their cooperation with the inquiry remain undisclosed by the police.
