Springfield, MI (November 21, 2023) - A bicyclist was hurt in an accident in Springfield on Monday night, according to authorities. At around 11:15 p.m. on Monday, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a bicycle accident close to the junction of North Helmer Road and Upton Avenue in Springfield. According to investigators, the biker was using the right-hand lane to travel north when a vehicle crashed into him. The sheriff's office said that the 25-year-old man from Springfield is now in stable condition after being rushed to the hospital. The sheriff's office is asking anybody with information to contact them.
