Clinton Township, MI (November 24, 2023) - An investigation into a deadly collision involving a bicycle is underway by the police on Wednesday evening, November 22, is reportedly underway.
The collision occurred at about 6:45 p.m. on November 22 on Harper Avenue, just south of Metropolitan Parkway, according to the Clinton Township Police. Per police, the cyclist was first discovered to be riding in the northbound lane of Harper Avenue. Both cars—a 2019 Dodge Charger and a 2018 Jeep Compass—were still at the site of the accident. The exact location of the bicyclist's death, whether at the scene or at a hospital, remains unknown. Despite initial claims that alcohol did not play a role, the Clinton Township Police Department is asking anybody with information to contact them and continues to investigate.
