Detroit, MI (November 24, 2023) - An accident involving at least two drivers happened on a local highway on Friday evening, November 24, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation, resulting in apparent victim injuries.
At about 7:45 p.m., EMTs, police officers from the Detroit Police Department, and state troopers from the Michigan State Police arrived at the site of the incident. All right lanes of westbound I-94 after Michigan Highway 53 and Van Dyke Avenue were shut down, according to the authorities, while police investigated the scene. Although the victims' present conditions are unclear, paramedics were also sent to the site of the collision to evaluate and treat any injuries. Any witnesses were urged to get in touch with the local police. DPD and MSP authorities are in charge of the accident investigation.
