Detroit, MI - Pedestrian Hurt in Hit-and-Run at 9 Mile & Gratiot

Detroit, MI (November 25, 2023) - A hit-and-run wreck occurred at 9 Mile Road and Gratiot on Saturday evening, November 25, resulting in serious injuries to one victim. A pickup vehicle, perhaps white or gray in color, side-swiped a woman in a wheelchair as she crossed the intersection at 9 Mile and Gratiot around 5:10 p.m. Eyewitnesses aided the woman until EMTs arrived. She was transported to an area hospital, but her current condition is unknown. An investigation remains active in the meantime.
