Mecosta Co., MI (December 9, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a car crash in Mecosta County on Friday evening, December 8. The accident occurred at around 5:40 p.m.

Reports from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s office show that a 39-year-old woman was operating a bobcat utility vehicle when she became involved in a collision with a second vehicle, which was driven by a 28-year-old woman. The incident prompted the bobcat to strike another vehicle in the area of Hayes Road and 85^th Avenue.

Two people were injured as a result of the accident. Mecosta County EMS responded to the scene to care for the injured victims. The two people were transported to an area hospital for emergency care. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
