Wayne Co., MI – Auto Accident with Injuries on M-39 at Grand River Ave

Wayne Co., MI (December 10, 2023) – The Michigan Department of Transportation confirmed that an automobile accident occurred on Sunday morning in Wayne County. The Michigan state police and local firefighters were notified of the crash at around 3:40 a.m. on December 10.

According to the Michigan state police, a collision blocked the southbound side of Michigan 39 during the morning hours. The crash caused some disruptions in the area near Grand River Avenue as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services personnel were summoned to the scene of the crash to care for injured victims and transport them to local hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
