Southfield, MI - I-696 & M-10 Crash Ends in Injuries

Southfield, MI (December 14, 2023) – Emergency crews were dispatched to provide aid at the scene of a vehicle collision that occurred in the Southfield area on Thursday evening. The accident was reported at around 7:40 p.m. on December 14.

According to reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation, a collision between vehicles blocked multiple eastbound lanes of Interstate 696 during the evening hours. Authorities arrived at the scene and located damaged vehicles blocking the roadway near Michigan 10. Authorities responded to clear the scene of the accident and remove the involved vehicles. Medical personnel responded to care for injured parties before transporting them to local hospitals. The Michigan State Police is currently investigating the accident.
