Canton, MI – Man Killed in Crash on Ford Rd near Haggerty Rd

Canton, MI (December 15, 2023) – A 33-year-old man lost his life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred in the Canton area. Law enforcement was notified of the collision at around 445 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13.

According to reports provided by the Canton Police Department, a 33-year-old man was leaving a gas station in the area of Ford Road in Haggerty Road. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a westbound SUV. Immediately after the initial collision, the man was struck by a white sedan. The two vehicles continued driving on the roadway. The pedestrian was severely hurt in the crash. He was rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment. The Canton Police Department confirmed that the man passed away after arriving. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
