Oakland, MI (December 15, 2023) - On December 14, the Michigan State Police and local firefighters were called to the scene of an accident that sent at least one person to an area hospital with injuries. The accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m.

According to local law enforcement, vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 75 in the area near 9 Mile Road, causing severe delays throughout the area. Emergency crews out of Oakland responded to provide assistance with clearing the road. Emergency medical service personnel responded to treat injured victims. An unknown number of injured parties were transported to local hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
