Rives Twp., MI (December 15, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jackson County resulted in injuries. The accident was reported to law enforcement just before 10:30 a.m. on December 14.
According to reports provided by authorities, a head-on collision took place on State Road near Barry Road during the morning hours. People became entrapped in both of the involved vehicles. Firefighters responded to the scene to extricate the victims. Police and firefighters worked to remove the involved vehicles from the roadway. Medical personnel tended to victims who were harmed in the crash. The injured parties were then transported to local hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
