Holland, MI – Man Hurt in Truck Wreck on Riley St near S 120th Ave

Holland, MI (December 17, 2023) – A man from Holland was left seriously injured as a result of a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Ottawa County on Friday evening, December 15. The accident occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. in Holland.

According to reports provided by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Riley Street in the Holland area. As the vehicle attempted to make a wide turn onto South 120^th Avenue, it collided with a 1990 Volvo. The impact of the collision caused the Volvo to enter the northbound lane, where it collided with another vehicle. The driver of the Volvo became pinned inside their vehicle. The victim, identified as a 38-year-old man, was extricated by firefighters. The man sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for emergency care. The driver of the pickup truck, a 65-year-old man from Zeeland, Michigan, was not injured. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
