Lansing, MI (December 20, 2023) – One person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle collision that occurred early Monday morning, December 18. The Lansing Police Department and firefighters were summoned to the crash site at approximately 830 a.m.

Reports provided by the police show that multiple vehicles collided on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in the area near Interstate 96. The crash blocked multiple lanes at the eastbound entrance to the interstate. A woman involved in the accident was injured and transported to a local hospital. A 60-year-old man who was driving one of the involved vehicles was severely harmed. He was transported to an area hospital, where he passed away from his injuries. At this time, the Lansing Police Department is investigating.
