Detroit, MI – Vehicle Collision on I-75 at Square Lake Rd

Detroit, MI (December 28, 2023) – On December 27, officers with the Michigan State Police were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Oakland County and resulted in injuries. Calls for assistance came in at approximately 5:00 p.m.

According to reports provided by law enforcement, a motor vehicle collision occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to shut down the roadway near Square Lake Road. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported extensive traffic delays throughout the area as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Injured parties that required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
