Fort Gratiot Twp., MI – Several Hurt in Car Crash on 24th Ave

Fort Gratiot Twp., MI (December 30, 2023) – Several victims were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in St. Clair County. At around 4:30 p.m. on December 28, troopers with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an automobile collision on 24^th Avenue.

Preliminary crash reports indicate that a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a 2021 Dodge Durango were involved in a collision with a 2017 Mitsubishi in the 4100 block of the roadway. The Durango was occupied by a 47-year-old male driver, a 15-year-old female passenger, a 17-year-old male passenger, and a 14-year-old passenger. The 14-year-old female passenger was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries. The remaining occupants all were treated for injuries. The driver of the Dodge Ram, identified as a 59-year-old man, was seriously injured. He was rushed to an area hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the accident is being investigated.
